Alison Management Corporation begins using GL ShipManager

Greek tanker manager starting its operations with ship/fleet management best practice solution

The GL ShipManager system is now the platform for technical ship management activities for Alison Management Corporation. The tanker manager based in Glyfada/Athens, Greece, is a newly formed company and a member of the Laskaridis group of shipping companies.

Alison Management is using the Technical Management, Procurement, and Compliance Management systems of GL ShipManager both in its office and onboard its entire fleet. The integrated ship / fleet management software system of GL Maritime Software enables shipping companies to manage tasks more efficiently, provides increased transparency of operations, and helps them keep their operations in line with industry requirements such as ISM or TMSA.

GL Maritime Software performed the implementation of the vessel-specific data, set-up of the remote managed office server, and installation of the first two vessel systems of the fleet all within a time frame of around three months. Training for key users and crew as carried out by GL Maritime Software at the company’s office, onboard the ships, and at GL Maritime Software’s training center in Germany.
